It's a simple process. I go to my online storage and it allows to me to select the destination, browse and then download. Usually I try to save everything as a jpeg to make this easier but when I try to download a sprint picture I get an error message.

I don't have one for my cell-phone because I thought I didn't need one. I can e-mail the pics I take with my cell, I just can't put them in online storage which is weird.

The pics you email are files attached to the email. I'm not sure why you can't directly put them in your online storage, but you might want to try dragging them onto your Windows desktop, then dragging them from the desktop into your online storage drive. (My guess is that an anti-virus program on your computer is preventing a direct transfer.)

I don't think so, but if that's the case it might require changing the security settings for email attachments.

PostPosted: Wed Sep 21, 2005 2:10 pm    Post subject: problem burning cd's with films or other large files Reply with quote  From this post on Mark Unread

i have a couple of flicks (divx) in my 'puter that i've been trying to put on cd's... i got the extra long ones, so there should be no trouble burning them, but i have a feeling that my current burning programs don't work with them, as i've had to toss a couple of cd's while trying...

i guess i have to upgrade... anyone else ever have trouble with this?

the burning programs i have are Roxio Easy CD Creator (5), WinonCD, and Media Jukebox.

maybe it's my burner that's no good for this???

oh, roxio is a pain, but this is different...

it's only when i try to burn onto a 900m cd... i bought them especially for putting my flicks on (so i can get them off my hd... sheesh) luckily there are only two, but i've tried twice and have had to ditch both cd's, so i'm loath to try again until i have an idea about what program i should use.

the hardware 'seems' to be fine... i'm pretty sure i need some upgraded software for this job... sigh...

my best bet is probably to get the latest version of jriver's media juke box... it's a good program, and i bought the license and all, but i think it's time to umm.. get the latest maxi one, and maybe a dvd burner too.

900 megs?... does your burner support that 'overburn' technology... or is it some kind of newfangled european technology that you're hiding from us ? heehee

you ever update the burner's firmware? i got my nec-2500a dvd burner to be more cooperative (and make less dvd 'coasters') after going to the latest firmware Doobie yeahhhh

Hey bruxy do you get any error messages when you try to burn?If so what are they write them down and send and post them here maybe I can help you with this issue. If you have a dvd burner it should work fine, but sometimes it's more of a software incompatability issue. Also are you trying to burn on a dvd disc or are you using straight up cdrw or cdr discs?Sometimes it can also be a file compression issue.

gsh...
what's overburn technology?
i'll check out the site for the burner to see if there are any new drivers for mine... but ugh, i'll have to open the 'puter to get the fcc number or model number off the thing...

chat...
i get an error message towards the end, but i can't remember what it is... rather generic though... i'm trying to burn a divx film onto a 900mega cd... i don't have a dvd burner.

i think i may just need a new burner... but... i even have trouble when trying to do this in my laptop, which is a bit newer... so maybe it's the software that's outdated.

bruxy -

you obviously don't have overburn; fugeddaboutit... lol

if you're running windows, device manager might show the exact model of your burner - i know my nec-2500a shows up as exactly that... at least in winxp...

if you find the make and model number, let me know... Smile

mort, could you copy-and-paste the code you're getting into a response here? Not sure if I can help, but I can at least take a look.
